Breed: Mixed

 

Dash is currently being housed by an elderly widow who took the dog in when the parents of the boy who took him home as a pup refused to let him keep the dog. Dash has a wonderful temperament, appears to get along with older children and adults, he currently lives with another dog, but not sure if he gets along with cats. The family of the woman housing him is afraid that she cannot keep up the care for him as she is in her 80's and he is an energetic young man. Dash will need to have his shots and be neutered by the adopting family as this has not been done yet. Please contact us at

Pit Bull Terrier Mix

Virginia is a approx 3 year old Pit Bull Terrier that was found as a stray. No one ever came looking for her. She is a manageble size at only 45 lbs and would benefit from some room to run. Virginia is friendly to all the humans she meets but does not like some dogs. We do not know about cats. She has been spayed, HW tested negative and is UTD on shots. Casey was rescued from the dog pound after his former caregivers turned him in. He is approx 1 year old and is a mix of maybe pointer or dalmation. He resembles a larger beagle. Casey has been neutered, his shots are UTD and he has been HW tested negative. He is a very manageable size at only 45 lbs. He is very loveable, but a little shy at first. Meet Traveler, aptly named for traveling 2 to 3 miles each day back and forth to the same place. It took nearly two months to catch him. Traveler was very scared when he first came into rescue, he must have suffered some abuse. He has come out of his shell big time and is turning into a very nice boy. We are guessing his age at 1-2 years old. Traveler has been neutered and his shots are UTD. All Traveler needs now is some TLC and a place to call home where he can put his traveling days behind him. Raven is an approx 5 year old black lab/chow who was rescued from living tied outside to a chain, 24/7. He has had his vaccines but unfortunately Raven tested positive for HW. Raven will get the treatment he needs and will be back to 100%, only this time loved and in a home. Meet our newest precious little angel saved from a kill shelter. Lilly is probably about 3 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. She had to have belonged to someone, she knows some commands like someone had worked with her. Lilly is spayed, her shots are UTD and she has been HW tested negative. She is very friendly and was OK with my dog after a few minutes of uncertainty. We do not yet know about cats with her. I have a feeling she is housebroken but will know for sure soon.
