VOLUNTEER -  Cat Cage Cleaners for Elyria Petsmart

 

Volunteers needed to socialize cats and clean cages 1 day per week, at a time convenient for you. Must be 18 years of age or 16 and supervised by a parent or guardian.

 WALKING WITH YOUR RESCUED BUDDY

 

Has your Doctor advised you to get more exercise? Do you find walking boring and a gym membership more than your budget allows? Do you want to help rescued animals, but can't commit a lot of time? ESHS has an overflow of rescued dogs that need a "buddy" to walk and play with them at several locations. Social stimulation and exercise are a key ingredient in helping these dogs be adoption ready.

  • $10.00 Youth (16 and under)

  • $20.00/year Pet Membership (non-voting member)

DONATIONS / SPONSORSHIPS

 

Donations are always encouraged and appreciated. All money donated is used for the care of our animals. You can help in the following ways.

 

  • Spay / Neuter Sponsors - This is one of our biggest expenses, yet it must be done. Please help us in the continuing battle against the over population of unwanted puppies and kittens.

  • Guys Fund for Dogs with Heartworm - This fund is especially for dogs with heartworm and the donations will go towards their medical expenses and follow-up care.

  • Olivers Fund for Abused and Neglected Pets - This fund is setup for donations specifically for pets that have been abused and neglected. The money for this fund will go for their medical expenses and follow up care.

  • Memorial Donations - Donations in the name of your loved one or treasured pet.

  • Wills / Trust Fund - Think of us when writing your will or trust fund.

  • Sponsored Advertising - For $5 a month or $50.00 a year your business card will be featured in our monthly newsletter.

  • General Donations - Any and all donations are helpful.

VOLUNTEERING YOUR TIME

 

Erie Shores Humane Society is always in desperate need of volunteers. As important as the monetary donations are to the animals the time every volunteer gives is priceless.

 

We need your help with the following:

 

 

  • Fund Raising - Helping at events

  • Animal Transport - Taking animals to Vet appointments and adoption clinics.

  • Telephone / Follow-up - Checking on fostered and adopted animals.

  • Membership - Helping with membership drives.

  • Baked Goods Donations - Baking for events

  • Adoption Clinics - Helping with the animals

  • Newsletter

  • Disaster Services

  • Dog Visitation - Provide companionship for a dog boarded in a kennel.

  • Candy Bar Sellers - Sell Malley's candy bars at your work place.

BECOME A FOSTER FAMILY

 

ESHS is always in need of foster homes for our many cats, kittens, dogs and puppies. Fostering helps animals with association, as well as their daily needs. They'll learn house manners , and of course get plenty of love and affection! Because of you, they will be able to find their forever home without the obstacles associated without ever having been in a home environment. Please contact us if you can help.
